About the event
Introducing The Cocoon: a support group for victims and survivors of sexual trauma.
The Blue Butterfly Institute was formed in 2020. Our main aim is to support and empower victims and survivors of sexual trauma to live their happiest and most fulfilling lives.
One of the ways to achieve this is through sharing your story in a safe space with people who are empathetic and get it because they’ve lived it too.
To this end, we are starting a support group for victims and survivors in Campbelltown at HJ Daley Library. We will meet once a month for an hour from 6.30pm.
Tina, our founder, will facilitate the group with Patty, our Vice President.
Tina already runs a successful support group in the Wollondilly. She is a survivor herself and specialises in this work with victims and survivors. She has university qualifications, holistic health qualifications, her own lived experience, extensive work experience, and she is currently studying her Masters in Counselling.
The first step to change is always the hardest. We’ve got you. You will not be forced to share anything so if you just want to come along to check it out, feel free to. If we are a good fit for you, we will do what we can to support you on your journey.
This session is FREE to attend but we kindly ask that you register on our website so that we can keep track of numbers and plan accordingly.
