ABOUT THE EVENT
Smash the Silence is a co-branded fundraiser, delivered in partnership with our event sponsors and designed to be welcoming, inclusive and community focused. The event brings people together through sport while raising vital funds to support trauma recovery programs and open conversations around healing and wellbeing.
The event will be played in a social doubles format (no experience necessary).
So, what is Pickleball?
If you're new to the craze that is Pickleball, here is a quick rundown:
Pickleball is a rapidly growing paddle sport that combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis. Played as singles or doubles on a badminton-sized court with a lower net, it uses solid paddles and a perforated plastic ball. Known for being easy to learn, it is popular across all ages for its social, fast-paced, and strategic, yet low-impact nature.
